Handicraft terms and definitions

Scope

This document defines a set of terms and definitions for handicrafts and is intended to provide greater clarity to manufacturers and traders. It does not include terms of handicraft accessories and their usage.

Handicraft

Products that is made by human, relying on individual artistic, mental and manual skills using mostly natural raw materials. The production methods are either completely manual or combined with some tools.

Accessories

is part of handicraft and the definition of it to be " Everything that is accessories and accessories for the purpose of decoration, and it is not from precious metal  (such as Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium, Ruthenium and other precious meta

Pottery

  Everything that was made of clay and exposed for heating or burning to make it hard and durable.

Clay

A group of fine sedimentary atoms with a volume of less than 0.002 mm3, and turns into a soft substance when mixed with water, and results from the disintegration or erosion of the rocky crust, and becomes cohesive when water is lost, but it remains fragile, and acquires hardness when exposed to burning.
