Secretary General and his accompanying delegation attended the 8th Meeting of the COMCEC Tourism Working Group which was held on September 1st, 2016 in Ankara under the theme of "Muslim Friendly Tourism (MFT): Developing and Marketing MFT Products and Services in the OIC Member Countries."
The Meeting was attended by the representatives of 13 Member States (Azerbaijan, Brunei Darussalam, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey and Uganda) and also representatives of COMCEC Coordination Office, ICDT, SESRIC, SMIIC, Crescent Rating, Dinar Standard, Halalinn and Sofyan Hotels.
The meeting provided a platform for Member States to exchange information and also to share their achievements and challenges in developing and marketing MFT products and services.
