Upon the request of the Industrial Engineering University Islam in Indonesia, SMIIC General Secretariat organized an Awareness Seminar on “Introduction to SMIIC, its activities, and OIC/SMIIC Halal Supply Management System Standards” for 15 undergraduate students on 21 February 2023 at SMIIC Headquarters within the framework of an educational visit to Turkey.

The Seminar included two sessions:
-The first session was on Introduction to SMIIC, its activities, and OIC/SMIIC standards.
-The second session was on OIC/SMIIC 17: 2020, Halal Supply Chain Management System Standards Part 1-2-3.
The seminar was successfully completed and very productive and SMIIC General Secretariat delivered certificates of participation to the Participants
