SMIIC Secretary General, Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT and his accompanying General Secretariat delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) on 06 May 2015.

During the fruitful meeting, current projects and activities of SMIIC were discussed and Mr. Abdulla Abdelqader Al Maeeni, Acting Director General of the ESMA illustrated the projects of the ESMA and current situation in the Gulf Region for halal process and stated that ESMA is ready to give support and cooperate on the activities of SMIIC  for the benefit of Ummah.
