Turkish Standards Institution (TSE)

Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) was established on 16 October 1954 as an entity under the organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) for the purpose of developing standards for all sorts of products, processes and services. TSE acquired its current autonomous status by Law 132 that came into force on 22 November 1960. As solely authorized national public body for standardization activities since 1954, TSE prepares and publishes the standards in all required fields. TSE also operates in diverse fields of conformity assessment consisting of product, system, service and personnel certification, surveillance-inspection, testing and calibration.
