Guidelines for the Halal Accreditation Body Accrediting Halal Certification Bodies

This guidelines prescribe general guidance and procedures for the halal accreditation body assessing and accrediting halal certification bodies . This standard was developed by the Standardization Expert Group (SEG) of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in 2008, and adopted by the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) Technical Committee on Halal Food Issues as OIC/SMIIC standard in 2011.
